An Associate of Arts in General Studies degree from the University of St. Thomas offers students a well-rounded education with a solid multi-disciplinary preparation allowing them to pursue careers in education, STEM, government, business, and other fields. At UST, students will have an opportunity to engage in the study of history, literature, writing, philosophy, sociology, psychology, creative arts and more. This program is designed to help students communicate well, think critically, problem solve, and be prepared for the work force or to transition to a four-year degree.

An Associate Degree For Anyone

500X330_AAS_LS_2​This two-year, 100% online degree program is 60 hours with 45 hours in core classes and 15 hours in electives. Courses will run on a 7-week compressed track like other UST Associates Courses.

Students can easily move into a four-year bachelor’s degree at UST with this AA in General Studies degree with most of the courses transferrable.
