The University of St. Thomas's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), "Educating for Purpose (E4P): Faith, Reason, Life," aims to integrate Catholic Social Teaching (CST) into the university experience. This initiative, rooted in the university's mission and strategic plan, seeks to enhance student learning and success by connecting faith, reason, and real-world issues. The plan outlines specific learning outcomes, assessment strategies, and resource allocation for a five-year implementation period. By intertwining Catholic values, traditions, and teachings throughout the university experience, we seek to create an environment that nurtures the holistic development of our students, promoting their personal, academic, and spiritual growth.
Through these efforts, the university aims to cultivate a vibrant Catholic culture and prepare students to lead ethically and contribute to the common good. The E4P Hub will serve as a central resource and physical meeting place, coordinating faculty training, student engagement, and curriculum enhancements.
