This two-year program is designed for students who already have a bachelor’s degree, in any field, who now want to seek a medical degree. Within the Post-Bacc Pre-Med Certificate program, students will not only take the required prerequisites for medical school, they will also develop the additional pre-professional behaviors and skills required for them to successfully enter into medical school.

The UST Post-Bacc Pre-Med Certificate provides students with:

  • Required pre-med prerequisites
  • MCAT prep
  • Medical shadowing experiences from UST alumni-physicians
  • Professional skills for entry into medical school

Students will learn the skills of the application process to medical school including CV, personal statement, secondary application, interview, MMI interview, medical ethics, and more.  Additionally, the program will provide development of pre-professional competencies, including teamwork, reliability, oral communication, social skills, service orientation/volunteering, adaptability, and moral/ethical development.
